Getting ready for a magical party

December is not only the month for a celebration of Christmas but, for us, it is also celebration for a couple that is getting married in Goa.  We will be organising a party to remember for all their family members and friends who cannot be with them for their wedding. This is a very exciting event for me and my team. This will be the first time where we can have a better and deeper understanding of the Indian culture, their customs, traditions and meals. The theme for the party is “travel in time” to enable the happy couple to recall all their beautiful memories.  We will be using decorations with lots of colourful fabrics, ribbons, flower curtains, candles, scented sticks, floating flower petals with candles and elephant ornaments to create a truly authentic Indian atmosphere. In terms of entertainment we are planning to have traditional sitar players during the cocktail reception together with henna paint artists. Bhangra dancers, belly dancers will entertain the guests after they have seen a brief film of their wedding ceremony projected in the room. The party will continue with a selection of entertaining Buddha bar music. Indian finger food and drinks will be served throughout the whole evening.
